ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sells Aureon products and services to current Clients including new products and renewals.
  • Responsible for securing new clients for Aureon; “new clients” defined as first-time consumers of Aureon products and solutions.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Monitors activity of Clients within the sales teams and ensures that Client communication, service and support exceed Client expectations.
  • Develop a regional sales plan with SMART goals and report regularly as required.
  • Builds brand in community as a trusted advisor for technology products and services.
  • Builds relationships with prospects and Clients. And assists with retention of current Clients.
  • Ensures contact with Clients impacted by service issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated discipline, internally and with clients and prospects. Concise, factual, to-the-point and laser-focused on outcomes, regardless of the channel.  Seek voice-on-voice or face-to-face interaction as frequently as possible and use e-mail sparingly and compellingly (newspaper headlines for long messages, subject line as message whenever possible, clear “asks” (action, awareness, input, etc).
  • Stay current on telecom trends, local and regional construction and economic development to better meet the needs of clients.
  • Provides all requested activity and sales opportunity reporting.
  • Achieves sales team quota.
  • Public speaking engagements as required. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Repeated demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • 5+ years of experience in Telecommunication or IT Networking sales

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Telecommunication or IT Networking sales

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM solution
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primarily indoor work primarily in office environments
  • Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Travel up to 75% in region required with 4-5 overnights per month. 
  • Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of computer screen
  • No unusual physical requirements
