PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, design, and implement Microsoft solutions, including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft-related issues, resolving complex problems and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Lead and execute upgrades and migrations of Microsoft systems and applications.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect Microsoft environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex issues within the designated area of specialization.
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of intricate issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and methodologies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and end-users on Microsoft technologies and best practices.
- Follow Aureon Technology policies and tenets at all times and subscribe to company ethos
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to the organization's IT environment.
- Assume additional duties as defined by supervisor and executive management
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT role, demonstrating proficiency in system administration, network management, and technical support.
Preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, virtualization technologies, and ITIL practices.
- Experience with Azure, Intune, and White Glove.
- Experience with Microsoft Implementation.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in system administration tasks, including software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of networking principles and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and security awareness training.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Indoor work primarily in office environments, with occasional travel to remote locations as needed.
- Frequent use of computers, keyboards, and other IT equipment for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting, bending, and carrying of IT hardware and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional travel to client locations
- Availability to work outside of standard business hours occasionally to perform maintenance or support critical operations.
