Local Community Leaders Partner with Youth for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa’s Game Show

Des Moines, IA (December 19, 2024) Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa (BBBSIA) will host its 3rd Annual “Big Little Game Show” on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Grand View University’s Viking Theatre. This fun-filled game show is free to attend and open to the public.

The Big Little Game Show is BBBSIA’s annual event to showcase the power of mentoring youth in the community. Watch teams of Littles, Bigs, and Community Leaders compete in exciting games, like Generation Gap and Friendly Feud. Cheer on the teams as they battle it out for the #1 spot!

BBBSIA CEO, Bridget Cravens-Neely, is enthusiastic about the upcoming Big Little Game Show. "Our Littles are truly inspiring, and we’re excited to give them the chance to shine in such a fun and engaging way. This event is a perfect example of how youth mentoring helps unlock the incredible potential in our young people, which is at the heart of everything we do at BBBSIA. I invite everyone to come out and be part of this memorable experience."

For the 2nd year in a row, the game show will be hosted by Laryssa Leone of Local 5 News team and a Champion of BBBSIA’s “I Am Enough” mentoring program. All proceeds raised benefit Future Pathways, BBBSIA’s mentoring program serving 18-25 year-olds in the community.
