Veterans Day Honoring Those Who Serve on Veterans Day

The opening ceremony, “Remembering Our Veterans,” will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel, 801-19^th Street. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

The Veterans Day Service of Remembrance will include:

• The presentation of colors by the American Legion Hispanic Post #731, 
  West Des Moines V.F.W. #8879 and Boy Scouts Troop #280
• A benediction by Tim Byrnes
• Music by Valley Singers
• Fairmeadows School 5^th grade “Veterans Day” SA winners
