Sew-Social Hour

First Wednesday of each month at the Jordan House Museum (2001 Fuller Road, West Des Moines)

Sew-social Hour at the Jordan House Museum is a throwback to historic sewing circles where you’d bring your latest needlecraft project and sit in the parlor with others, sharing tips, advice and sometimes gossip! Any needlecraft is welcome, and you don’t have to be an expert. For example,If you’ve always wanted to learn how to knit, we’ll be offering lessons each month on a specific craft. There will be multiple rooms; a quiet room and one where discussion will be encouraged.
