LSI Empower 2024

Join Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) on Thursday evening, June 13, 2024 for an evening of inspiration and recognition at the 13th annual Empower fundraising event, a celebration of unity and success within our immigrant and refugee communities.  

Indulge in the flavors of international cuisine prepared by a local refugee-owned catering company. Keynote speaker, Dr. Dau Jok, Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for West Des Moines Community Schools, will share his empowering insights.

6:30 p.m. - Dinner and program

Individual tickets and tables for eight are available for purchase at LSIowa.org/empower.  Proceeds from this event support LSI's Immigrant and Refugee Community Services, which play a vital role in welcoming and assisting refugees and immigrants in Iowa.
