Meals from the Heartland is excited to announce one of its most popular events of the year, Compete & Eat on October 16th. This engaging and competitive event promises a fun-filled evening while making a significant impact in the fight against hunger.

• Team Registration Fee: $1000 per team of 10

Event Highlights:

Hy-Vee One Step Challenge –Two Box Race: Put your skills to the test in our signature packaging competition. Teams will compete to package meals as quickly and efficiently as possible. Bragging rights are at stake, so come prepared to show us what you've got!

Morsel Combat: Following the Two Box Race, indulge in an array of small plates and desserts prepared by some of the area's top chefs and bakeries. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample these culinary delights and vote for their favorite dish of the evening.

Why Participate? Compete & Eat is more than just a fun evening—it's a chance to make a real difference. We need your help to provide lifesaving food to those in need, but we want you to have fun while you do it. Whether you're competing in the packaging race or savoring delicious bites, your participation supports our mission to fight hunger both locally and globally.

How to Register: Gather your friends, family, and coworkers to form a team and register online here! The registration fee is $1000 per team of 10, which includes entry to the event, participation in the Hy-Vee One Step Challenge, access to the Morsel Combat tasting and voting, & more!
